Blue Solar Night Enterprise was founded by Gim in 2022. Gim spent several decades serving in senior management roles within the supply chain industry. In 2018, her elderly dog, who had been suffering from multiple health issues, inspired her to explore singing bowls as a way to comfort and accompany her beloved companion through sound.

In 2019, she began studying singing bowl sound therapy with a local singing bowl group in Malaysia. The sense of peace and healing brought by singing bowls motivated her to pursue a new direction in life.

In 2020, Gim established a small studio in Penang, offering singing bowl sound therapy sessions and practitioner training courses.

Committed to continuous self-improvement, she furthered her studies under several international teachers, including the professional singing bowl practitioner training program by Hans de Back, Five Elements Sound Bath training with a Nepalese teacher, and professional crystal bowl healing courses conducted by instructors from the United States.

In 2024, Gim met Hans de Back, who has devoted more than fifty years of his life to the study and practice of singing bowls. Through Hans, she experienced what she considers the true completeness and wholeness of singing bowl sound therapy. In 2025, she invited Hans de Back to Malaysia on two occasions to conduct training programs. In 2026, she established a sound therapy studio in the Petaling Jaya area, equipped with a variety of healing instruments.
